What a great, fun weekend we had a Hawk's Cay! Thank goodness, because if Friday (the day of arrival) was any indication of our trip ... we would have been in trouble. We arrived Friday and it was raining, not only was it raining but it was all wet because it RAINED all day. We arrived to our room not being ready, raining and to put a cherry on top a no napped Gavin! We eventually passed through the hour of waiting for our room with an ice cream stop ... in the rain of course! We got our room, decided we would just go get a few groceries and hang in for the night. Of course who fell asleep at 4:00 on the way to Publix, who wet their pants on the way to Publix? You have got it ... Gavin. We did make it through the evening but not minus a few meltdowns. Saturday, that was a new day. This was the start of some fun. We swam, we paddle boarded, we kayaked, we went on a super cool pirate boat ride and we ate fish, lots of it ... even the girls, and took a trip down to Key West! We love family vacations!
