Night one and already being naughty

Ernie up to know good already! Tonight Ernie got into the candy canes that are being used for decoration on the dining room table.  Even though he was a tad bit naughty (we see he really like his sugar), he did leave us our special Christmas tree.  Santa must have also checked his list, as magically 3 bells were in the magic box!

the first bells arrived

Looks like we had three little ones on the good list.  We woke up this morning to three bells in the magic box.

so comfy on my Christmas pillows

Jessie is in Christmas heaven since I took out the Christmas pillows and throw.  Lexi not feeling so well, is enjoying them just the same.

look who arrived ....

Last night our Elf arrived.  To say that Lexi loves Ernie the elf, is to put it mildly.  She missed him all year.  The mind and love of a child, I just eat it up at Christmas time.  Oh how I just love the innocence of a child, especially at Christmas time.  Of course, Ernie will also be used for bribery (momma won't lie), but more importantly I love the "magic" of Ernie.  This year Ernie left us a north pole breakfast to celebrate his arrival.  Ernie left us a total junk, sugar filled breakfast.  We decided that Ernie is a bit naughty because he eats way too much sugar.

We also got a special package from Santa.  Santa sent us a magic box.  He selected 25 families and we were one of them.  This was a magic box he used to deliver letters to the elves in the elf workshops.  Each night Santa will check his list, if we are on it a bell will appear in our magic box.  The bell will be hung on a special tree the elves will make for us.

Thanksgiving ... a day to be thankful!

Happy Thanksgiving, a day of thanks and a day of feeling so blessed.  I am thankful that I have been afforded another day.  Thankful for three amazing children and an even more amazing husband.  Thankful that I don't have the "perfect" life, but the best life for me! Thankful that myself and my family are healthy.  Thankful that my children wake up to not one, but two loving parents.  Thankful that my children have so much to he happy about.  Thankful that I am so very blessed!!!

Today we spent Thanksgiving at auntie Laurie's house.  This is our typical tradition, as she enjoys cooking Thanksgiving dinner and we don't mind letting her.  She is a great cook!! We let Gavin skip his nap today, headed over around noon and spent the entire day.  We determined Gavin does quite well without a nap, Carli on the other hand .... !

The kids kept busy the entire day and of course we left exhausted! Gavin played with the girls and Nickolas as well.  Gavin loves Nickolas, he talks about him all the time and all the way to auntie Laurie's house.  I wasn't sure how much Gavin would pick pocket by the time we left, but we ended up leaving free and clear.
