Today was the first day of school. We had Lexi going into first grade, Carli into Pre K and Gavin into preschool. Well, Gavin almost into preschool ... he woke up with a low grade fever, so he missed his very first day of school! He was healthy and rearing to go the following day though. Everybody reported great first days, Gavin so excited he could barely speak. Carli was so excited for her first day, that she found her friend, ran ahead of me and checked herself in. Thankfully I got a picture or two at home, as I got none of her at her door. I did sneak a few at the loading dock during pick up time. Lexi reported a great first day as well, but would gladly like to stay in kindergarten. She LOVED kindergarten!! I went into Lexi's class to take some first day photos for a project her teacher does and also snapped a few cool things about the classroom. Thinking these will be really fun to look at years from now. Did I mention that I absolutely love that my kids enjoy and LOVE going to school?!
