Christmas Eve celebration

We celebrated Christmas Eve as usual with Mema, Caitlin and Auntie Laurie and family.  The kids had fun running around, doing arts and crafts and playing with their metal detectors that Auntie Laurie bought them for Christmas.  The adults of course ate way too much, while the kids were too busy to eat!

Santa needs some cookies

Today we baked some Christmas sugar cookies for Santa.  Let's just say that may have ate more sprinkles than they put on them! Let's hope Santa doesn't mind licking of the fingers, sampling the icing from the cookies and sharing a sprinkle or two.  If he doesn't, well then we have the most perfect cookies for him! What matters the most ... we all had fun!!

Gavin's holiday fun at school ....

Today was Gavin's holiday party at school.  Gavin and his friends made a "Florida" snowman ornament, they wrapped themselves up in toilet paper to look like snowmen and of course had a special visit from the jolly ole man himself .... Santa! Gavin was the first to sit on Santa's lap, he loves Santa! Gavin has a special list that he has not deviated from for the past 2 months.  His list goes exactly like this; Batman jail, Spiderman house and lots of Avengers! As one could imagine, when Gavin received a book from Santa, he politely said he didn't like books.  I think he was quite confused on why he was not getting anything on his list the 3-4 times he met Santa and received a gift! Little does he know that Santa will soon be coming to his house and I am sure will honor his requests.

Woohoo, we are getting closer to the big day ... Christmas that is!

Looks like Ernie may have caught the flu! At least he found the tissues and the medicine.  Though, Lexi thinks he is just faking and he is really not sick.
