The most magical place on earth ....

What an amazing Disney trip ... by far, the best one ever! This was Gavin's first trip and it was so amazing for him.  He had no idea what to expect.  I think he was expecting something like the Disney store.  Hilarious that after we arrived at the hotel on Thursday night, hung out there a bit, Gavin asked if we were going home now.  He thought that was it, that was Disney .... little did he know! The kids were great, loved all the rides and between all three of them, we had only one meltdown.  In my opinion we can scratch the one and only meltdown as it was pretty late by then.  On Friday we spent the morning at Hollywood Studios.  Our morning at Hollywood Studios included a special lunch with Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Oso, June and Handy Manny.  After Hollywood Studios we went back to the hotel to take a nap, which mind you Gavin never did until of course we were on the bus to Magic Kingdom.  We arrived at Magic Kingdom just in time for the show at the castle.  Gavin woke up in the middle of it and his eyes lit up like magic.  Loved this moment!! We spent the afternoon and into the late evening here.  It did get dark pretty early so we didn't get to see/do everything we wanted to do.  We also had to find a spot for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas parade.  We do this every year! They danced, had lots of sugar, and waited patiently or better stated impatiently for the parade to begin.  Everybody stayed awake for the entire parade and even made it back to the hotel awake.  The next morning we were scheduled to go to Animal Kingdom, we decided to do this park on our next visit.  Gavin just didn't get to see enough of Magic Kingdom, and isn't that was Disney is all about?! So we headed to Magic Kingdom and we did everything, I mean everything ... I don't think we missed a ride that they could go on.  They loved it .... every single minute of it! We decided to skip our nap that day and head right to Epcot.  Gavin stayed strong and feel asleep on the monorail.  He got his nap on mama and then took everything in at Epcot.  We did the big handful of rides and shows there and had dinner.  The next morning we left, but not before we had a very special breakfast with Minnie, Goofy and Pluto.  To see Disney through a child's eyes .... can't wait to do it again next year!!
