Mommy and Poppa were treated to a wonderful parents day from Carli today. She was so excited to have her parents in class today and "show off" her beautiful work displayed all around the classroom. We also got a little present ... all week she told us, we had one clue, keys! She is hilarious!! Prior to our classroom visit we were treated to a continental breakfast and a preschool singing performance. What a great morning, we are so proud of our beautiful Carli!
Today was Easter. We celebrated Easter at Mema's house with auntie Laurie and family. The kids always enjoy seeing each other. Lexi and Ella are great cousins! Easter fun was not complete without an Easter egg hunt. Gavin enjoyed hose fun ... his favorite thing to play with at Mema's house. We left tired and full!
Gavin started his lil slugger baseball today. What a great program! A program that teaches taking turns, sharing, etc through baseball. No, they don't really play baseball on a baseball field ... at least, not at age 2. The are learning recognition of bases, how to hold a bat, how to throw a ball and other baseball basics. Gavin's little buddies Liam and Mikey have joined as well. After a few minutes of warming up, they all have fun.
Today we went to see Toy Story. The kids loved it. My opinion, the best Disney on ice show that we have seen so far. Gavin was into the entire show, clapping and waving at all the characters. I love that we get to do so many special things and create so many special memories with the kids.
